Oral thrush
Oral thrush, also known as oral candidiasis, is a fungal infection caused by the overgrowth of Candida albicans in the mouth. It can result in the development of white, cottage-cheese-like patches on the tongue, inner cheeks, and roof of the mouth. Treatment usually involves antifungal medication and good oral hygiene practices.
